Organisational Change Management
The course shall assist partners in developing countries to create and support strategic changes in their organisations as an integrated part of long term development process. Course participants will improve their capacity to identify and task a change management team and support leadership of change processes.
Managers and executive staff assigned to a key role in planned organisational change processes in institutions involved in interventions supported by Danida. It is expected that participants have at least 3-5 years of experience in relevant senior position in a public institution or a NGO.
- Three years in an executive position; at least one of these with the present organisation

2 weeks in Denmark
An enhanced ability of the participating managers to design, initiate and manage change processes towards greater organisational effectiveness in their home organisations.
Participants should by the end of course have gained knowledge of core concepts, strategies and tools in organisational change management. Participants can apply new knowledge in their own organisations relative to Danish and other international development cooperation including the aid effectiveness agenda in their home organisations. In addition, the participants have acquired knowledge and understanding of the complexity of leading and managing an organisational change management process. The participants will have gained knowledge of own personal behaviour and role in a change management team, as well as understanding individual and personal preferences and attributions to a process of change.
The Course is co-funded by Danida Fellowship Programme. After selection of course participants, the Danida programmes/projects are charged a non-refundable amount of DKK 3,500 per participant per tutorial week in Denmark, in total DFKK 7,000. This covers study fee, accommodation, allowances, insurance and international airfare.
