For the South-driven development research projects, earlier named the pilot research cooperation programme, the institutions in the Danida priority countries are taking the lead in defining and managing the research projects. The projects are carried out in cooperation with Danish research partners.
Currently the Danida priority countries Tanzania, Ghana, Vietnam, and from 2014 Nepal, are included.
The aim is to strengthen the research capacity and the long-term cooperation between Danish institutions and institutions in the countries above.
