Trip to Amalienborg Castle and the North Atlantic House

About the event

Join me for a trip to Amalienborg Castle where we will see the changing of the guards and, maybe, if we’re lucky, catch a glimpse of the royal couple! 

After the changing of the guards, we will take a walk through Nyhavn with its beautiful coloured houses before we cross the bridge to reach the North Atlantic House. 

At the North Atlantic House, we will enjoy a nice hot beverage before following a guided tour of the house. Here, we will learn more about Denmark’s historical and contemporary relationship with Greenland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands – with Greenland especially in the spotlight at the moment due to renewed international interest in the Arctic.

Remember to wear warm clothes, comfortable shoes for walking, and possibly bring a snack, as lunch will not be provided.
