Information from the Danish authorities about corona virus/covid-19 in Denmark.

The CORONA/COVID-19 virus is spreading at a considerable pace in Denmark. The Danish Health Authorities have recommended a number of precautions to contain and slow down the spread of the virus. Danida Fellowship Centre is monitoring the situation and have taken a number of measures.

As part of helping prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19, we have from 12 March taken the following precautions:

1) All courses scheduled to start between 1 April and 18 May are postponed to a later date. Information about courses starting after 18 May will be shared later.

2) All Danida fellows who were in Denmark on short courses have been repatriated to their home countries.

3) Danida Fellowship Centre recommends that Danida funded researchers and PhD students on short stays (less than 90 days) return to their home countries.

4) Danida Fellowship Centre recommends that Master students, PhD students and researchers who are scheduled to stay in Denmark for over 90 days will remain in Denmark as planned.

For the remaining fellows, we advise that you follow the guidelines of your university. We also strongly advice that you keep abreast of and follow the general recommendations from the Danish Health Authorities about COVID-19, which can be found here or call the hotline: +45 7222 7459.
