We are already doing quite well. The amount of services provided by DFC on commercial basis has tripled during the first months of 2012.
DFC director Anne Christensen is very content about the new development: “The none-routine tasks are stimulating and enhancing for DFC combined with the benefit of utilization of available DFC capacity,” she explains.
The customers are mainly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but are also NGOs and other organizations working with developing assistance.
The tasks vary from handling the stays and return flights of the Libyan war veterans discharged from the Danish hospitals, and full facilitation and administration of study tours to accommodation only at the DFC hostel.
