Meta-study across Danida-funded water research

A recent meta-study across Danida-funded water research projects is now complete. The study draws on research outputs and findings from fifteen research projects carried out in China, Ghana, India and South Africa from 2018 to the present.
The meta-study highlights the breadth and depth of Danida-funded research addressing water security, water quality, wastewater, and water governance and policy.
Across the research projects studied, the findings underscore that integrated, inclusive and context-sensitive approaches are critical for effective water resource management in the face of climate change, urbanisation and socio-economic vulnerabilities.
