New colleagues have joined us

09-12-24

We are happy to welcome three new members of staff: Louise W. Rasmussen, Angelina Fattah and Sophie Kjær.

Louise W. Rasmussen and Angelina Fattah have joined our research team as administrative officers.

Louise W. Rasmussen has a background in quality assurance and has broad experience in administration, coordination and quality control. She has previously worked in the retail industry in product development, documentation and food product labelling, as well as in collaborations with NGOs such as the Rainforest Alliance. Louise has a strong interest in bridging gaps between diverse project stakeholders. In her new role, she will primarily support the administration of research collaboration projects and the Building Stronger Universities programme.

Angelina Fattah has a background in information science, cultural mediation and cross-cultural communication, and her previous experience was in the NGO sector. She has worked with data management, administrative support, knowledge sharing and publications, with a focus on Denmark, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Angelina will provide administrative support for the annual application rounds and research collaboration projects.

Sophie Kjær has joined our learning team as a capacity development advisor. Sophie’s role is split between supporting the development of the Danida Fellows Network, which focuses on enabling learning and knowledge sharing for its members, and managing the Master’s Scholarship Programme offered to young Africans under the Strategic Sector Cooperation. Sophie has been with Danida Fellowship Centre since 2019, initially as a member of the junior staff and, since 2023, on short-term contracts as a capacity development advisor. She holds an academic degree in political science and international relations.
