Danida Fellowship Centre’s s mission is to support the creation of new knowledge and skills and to prepare and inspire potential change agents to transform their knowledge and capacities into action to solve today’s global challenges in a sustainable manner.

Year by year, we compile our achievements in an annual report, which you can find in our archive.

Denmark has supported development research for more than 40 years.  While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark sets the policy direction for development research funding, Danida Fellowship Centre manages the annual grant of approximately 200 million Danish kroner. This support facilitates collaboration between Danish researchers and partners in Danida-supported countries across the Global South.
