Former Invitations and Guidelines, W1 and W2, Phase 2, 2018
Within Window 1 (W1) the Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites applications for grants related to development research in the following low-income countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Myanmar, Niger, Palestine, Somalia, Tanzania, and Uganda. Research-based institutions in Denmark, Ghana, and Tanzania are eligible to apply. The duration of projects is up to 5 years with a maximum grant of DKK 12 million for each project. The total budget available for this window in 2018 is approximately DKK 120 million.
Within Window 2 (W2) the Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites applications for grants related to the Strategic Sector Cooperation in the following countries: Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Colombia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Mexico, Myanmar, South Africa, Turkey, and Vietnam. Only research-based institutions in Denmark are eligible to apply for these research grants and only in partnership with research institutions in the partner countries mentioned above. The duration of projects is up to 3 years with a maximum grant of DKK 5 million for each project. The total budget available for this window in 2018 is approximately DKK 60 million.
The selection process is under the auspices of the FFU.

The application deadline for Window 1 and Window 2: 24 August 2018, 12:00 hrs. (Danish Time).
Please note that it is very important that the basic data in the Phase 2 application correspond to those of your Phase 1 application.
