Window 1 Call 2020 – Research Grants, Phase 1

Universities and research institutions from Denmark, Ghana, and Tanzania can apply for grants to research collaboration projects in Danida priority countries – Window 1.

The application must be submitted together with research partners in one or more Danida priority countries (or Denmark if submitted by an institution in Ghana/Tanzania). The thematic focus area of the 2020 Call for research in Danida priority countries is Sustainable development and climate change. The granted projects are up to 5 years of duration and up to 12 million DKK.

The application round is two-phased:

  • Phase 1 is the first step of a process in which applicants submit a brief research proposal.
  • Phase 2 is the submission of a full application by those selected (“prequalified”) in Phase 1.

The applicants must fill in the electronic application form. Select: ”W1 Research in Danida priority countries phase 1”.
