We welcome to this year’s award ceremony of the annual Danida Alumni Prize 2019 and the Retrospective Study Launch.
This year the Danida Alumni Prize will be awarded to an alum, who based on Danida funded studies, has contributed to positive change in his or her home country or area of employment, as a result of research-based achievements.
The award ceremony will be held in conjunction with Danida Fellowship Centre’s launch of the Retrospective Study. Danida has supported research-capacity development projects for three decades. The study examines the broader perspectives of research-capacity development at African universities and research institutions.
From a workshop at Danida Fellowship Centre in November 2018 with 45 African fellows, who were currently in Denmark. The workshop was part of the retrospective study of the experiences and reflections of African researchers, who has been involved in Danida funded research capacity building 1989-2019.
The festive event is free and part of the 5th joint Nordic Conference on Development Research.
