Welcome to new colleagues

06-03-25

Three new colleagues have joined our development research grants management team: Hristina Jensen as project administrator, and Nellie Vase Rasmussen and Sarah Michelle Boesen as research programme officers.

Hristina Jensen, our new project administrator, has administrative experience in the fields of politics, management and citizen engagement in Denmark and internationally, most recently from a job with Doctors Without Borders. She will largely support the administrative procedures of our team managing Danida’s grant for development research.

Nellie Vase Rasmussen, who has joined us as a research programme officer, is a political science graduate and she has worked at the Danish Embassy in Addis Ababa and Oxfam Denmark. She has also held posts in DIIS and Amnesty International Denmark within the realms of international conflict, human rights and development. She will support the FFU grant process and manage projects on economic development and waste.

Sarah Michelle Boesen, also a new research programme officer, has a background in disaster risk management and climate adaptation and has experience in international development consulting. At Danida Fellowship Centre, her main role will be to support research collaboration in climate adaptation, agriculture, and natural resource management, as well as our various Science Engagement initiatives.
