New members of staff

Help us welcoming Kaspar Bro Hansen, deputy director, Pernille Bokare, project coordinator and Josefine Dahl Hansen and Sophie Dahlsbo Bromand, capacity development advisors.

Kaspar Bro Larsen is our new deputy director. With more than twenty years’ experience in international development and humanitarian aid, he brings leadership and management experience from civil society, Red Cross and corporate organisations. Specialised in strategic dialogue, multi-sector partnerships and results-based management across Europe, Asia and Africa, Kaspar is passionate about authentic leadership to enable strong teams and develop value-driven collaborations. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Development.

Pernille Bokare has joined Danida Fellowship Centre as a project coordinator. She will be responsible for the coordination of fellows’ arrivals and providing them with ongoing support. Pernille has extensive international experience in project management, the implementation of marketing programmes and the coordination of events primarily within the private sector. Pernille has a Master’s degree in law.

Josefine Dahl Hansen has joined our learning team as a capacity development advisor. Her role is split between leading the junior staff team and managing the Master’s Scholarship Programme for young African professionals under the Strategic Sector Cooperation. Josefine has been with Danida Fellowship Centre since 2021, initially as a member of the junior staff team and later, (since 2024), as arrivals coordinator and junior staff lead on a short term contract basis. She holds a Master’s degree in social anthropology.

Sophie Dahlsbo Bromand
Sophie Dahlsbo Bromand has also joined our learning team as a capacity development advisor. Sophie’s primary focus will be on identifying priorities for capacity building activities and developing learning programmes. Sophie has broad experience in facilitating cross-cultural learning programmes and managing multi-stakeholder projects. Like Josefine, Sophie has been a member of DFC’s junior staff and worked for us as a short-term consultant. She has a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Global Development.
