Climate

Considering its northerly location the Danish climate is relatively mild. It is also highly unpredictable. From May to August temperatures vary from 16 to 26 degrees centigrade and daylight lasts almost 18 hours. In the coldest winter months of January and February, there are only 8 hours of daylight and the average daily temperature lingers around freezing point but expect anything from 10 degrees below to 10 degrees above.

As Denmark has a costal climate, the weather is often windy, rainy and cold. It is advisable to bring warm clothes and shoes suitable for this climate.
