Alumni network
Since the first Danida fellows came to Denmark in the 1960s more than 24,000 individuals from developing and growth countries have been awarded Danida fellowships.
Around the world Danida alumni hold important positions in various capacities, from researchers and teachers to government officials and CEOs.
Danida Alumni Network connects the alumni and encourages them to stay in touch with each other and Denmark. It is a global community of highly skilled professionals for networking, knowledge exchange and collaboration among its membership as well as with Danish higher education institutions, private businesses and other organisations.

Building connections
Through its diverse membership of highly skilled Danida alumni, associated Danish partners and exclusive member services, the Danida Alumni Network facilitates and helps maintain professional and personal ties across countries, sectors and backgrounds.
Support to Local Networks
Created in early 2016, the Danida Alumni Network now has 12 local chapters in Africa, Asia and Latin America and more than 3000 individual registered members – all highly qualified individuals with a special connection to Denmark.
Danida Alumni Prize
The Danida Alumni Prize is awarded annually to a Danida alum, who has made a significant contribution to positive change in his or her home country or professional field based on his or her studies in Denmark.
Knowledge Sharing and Networking
