Fellows in Denmark
Every year Danida Fellowship Centre administers research and study stays for more than 1000 Danida fellows from developing and growth countries.
Most fellows participate in Danida Fellowship Centre’s capacity building learning programmes of three weeks to three months or in two year Master courses. They are selected by Danida’s partners in the developing and growth countries that Denmark collaborates with. A smaller group of fellows are Danida supported PhD students or researchers.
While in Denmark, most fellows stay in Copenhagen or in other university cities, such as Esbjerg, Aalborg and Aarhus. A few of our shorter learning courses take place outside Denmark.
If you have been granted a Danida fellowship and you want to prepare yourself for your stay in Denmark, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the information on this page.
We look forward to welcoming you to Denmark.
