Trip: Cisterns of Copenhagen
About the event
Join us this Saturday for a trip to Denmark’s only stalactite cave: the very old, and now emptied water reservoirs of Copenhagen. These cool and humid caves used to serve as a water supply for Copenhagen in the 19th century up until 1933.
Today it works as an underground museum situated below one of Copenhagen’s most beautiful parks, Søndermarken.
We will experience the current art installation called: WEAVING THE LIGHT, by South Korean artist Kimsooja. After visiting the Cisterns, we will take a walk around the beautiful parks of Frederiksberg and get a hot drink together.
Remember to wear warm clothes and bring your Travel Pass.
