Equal Rights and Opportunities

Purpose: The aim of the course is to improve the ability of participants to understand and analyse barriers for equal rights and opportunities in their organisations both internally and externally, as well as applying strategies to address these barriers.

Content: Through a highly participatory learning approach, participants will gain the necessary concepts and tools to understand overarching international and regional policy frameworks, and an ability to analyse equality at global, societal, organisational, and individual levels. Field visits to a range of Danish institutions will expose participants to the work methods, tools, and realities of working with equal rights and opportunities. Developing an Action Plan based on participants’ own context, focused on both internal and external issues, is a key outcome of the programme.

Target group: This course targets mid-level managers with experience and responsibilities in different thematic areas related to equal rights and opportunities. Participants may represent government, institutions, CSOs as well as business interests.
