OSH Problem Based Management and Leadership

Place of study: University of Southern Denmark

Purpose: The course aims to provide knowledge on management and leadership as well as identify and analyse possible possibilities and challenges connected hereto.

Content: The format of the course is characterised by theory, practical exercises, discussions and follow up based on their everyday problems. A main part of the course is the production of action plans and implementing them in home countries of the participants with support from the facilitators from SDU. The focus is to drive real tangible improvement of the operations in the participants’ workplaces.

Target group: The course targets participants working as first line managers for factory and labour inspectorates in Bangladesh and Myanmar. Participants must be related to the Danish Strategic Sector Cooperation (directly or indirectly).
