New strategic guidance note for Denmark’s support to development research

17-05-24

For over 40 years, development research has been an important component of Danish development cooperation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and the Danida Fellowship Centre have prepared a strategic guidance note for the support to development research.

Research plays a critical role in generating knowledge and informing societal understanding of how to drive transformational sustainable development. Contextually relevant and impactful research is essential for guiding decision-makers and communities in effectively addressing both existing and emerging sustainable development challenges.

A strategic guidance note for Danish support to development research has now been prepared in collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and the Danida Fellowship Centre.
