Project General Information
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark’s research grants include grants applied for and managed by Danish research institutions with partners in the South, and grants applied for and managed by research institutions in Ghana and Tanzania (Vietnam and Nepal are being phased out) with partners in Denmark.
Two windows of support have been set up in 2017 providing grants for research with partners in Danida priority countries, and for research with partners in growth and transition countries.
The general timeframe of the development research projects is 3-5 years, with a budget between DKK 5 and 10 million.
It is not possible to apply for individual PhD and Postdoc grants, as these are included in the development research projects.
Questions regarding the development research activities should be directed to the Danida Fellowship Centre’s Research Team at e-mail research@dfcentre.dk.
