What does a Danida fellowship cover?

  • Tuition fees - paid directly by Danida Fellowship Centre to the place of study
  • Application fees, where applicable  - paid by the Danida fellow, but refunded by Danida Fellowship Centre
  • Basic visa fees, where applicable - paid by the Danida fellow, but refunded by Danida Fellowship Centre
  • Residence permit fees, where applicable - paid directly by Danida Fellowship Centre
  • Travel insurance – paid for by Danida Fellowship Centre
  • Mandatory language tests fees, where applicable - paid by the Danida fellow and refunded by Danida Fellowship Centre
  • International return flight tickets (economy class) to and from Denmark - booked and paid for by Danida Fellowship Centre
  • Per diem/allowances - paid to Danida fellows by Danida Fellowship Centre within the first few days of arrival. Read more.
  • Accommodation in Denmark - booked and paid for by Danida Fellowship Centre
  • Transportation to and from the place of study in Denmark paid for by Danida Fellowship Centre
  • A flat-rate of DKK 250 as a contribution to your transportation costs between Copenhagen Airport and your accommodation (round trip)
