2025 was a year of expanding partnerships for Danida Fellowship Centre. We welcomed the first cohort of the new Knowledge and Innovation Programme - Denmark's DKK 430 million university partnership programme with Africa for 2025-32 - and embarked on a three-year agreement to support sustainable urban development in cities across the continent. More than 1,300 professionals took part in our learning activities, with close to one fifth focused on supporting the global energy transition.
The overview of our activities and results in 2024 is ready. In 2024, we facilitated 49 learning activities for 1,150 participants, 84% from Danida-funded Strategic Sector Cooperation programmes and 16% from other Danida-funded programmes. We also managed 109 Danida-funded research projects. Our results reflect outputs, outcomes, and reach and performance indicators.
The annual report with an overview of our activities and results in 2023 is ready. We implemented 38 learning programmes for 844 participants, 86% of whom were partners in Danida-funded Strategic Sector Cooperation programmes while 14% came from other Danida-funded programmes. Additionally, we administered 120 Danida-funded research projects, 10 of which were finalised in 2023.
