Danida Fellowship Centre has partnered with Circle Generation to create a six-part Network Leadership Toolkit to inspire both budding and experienced network coordinators in their practice of cultivating healthy networks. Besides offering practical concepts, activities and tools for you to experiment with in your network, this toolkit will also provide you and your fellow coordinators with a shared language for the many facets of your important work.
Social learning is the practice of learning from and with others by engaging uncertainty, paying attention, and caring to make a difference. It might offer you a helpful lens through which to hold space for collective learning and action within and across your member-driven network. It is not about one person transmitting information to others. It's about people learning with and from each other about something they care to do better.
This collection of learning bites introduces the concept of social learning, why it matters, how it can be applied and how it differs from traditional learning approaches.
We have develop the collection together with the social learning theorists and consultants Berverly and Etienne Wenger-Trayner to help enhance your collaborative learning and action across your member-driven network.
