Travel Grants included in research collaboration projects

Travel grants for Master’s students enrolled at Danish higher education institutions conducting field studies as part of their Master’s thesis can be included in research collaboration projects granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark in 2018 and 2019, i.e. research projects in low-income Danida priority countries (Window 1) or research projects in growth and transition countries (Window 2). The lists of granted research collaboration projects in 2018 and 2019 are found here

The travel grants must be used for the Master’s students to visit the research project’s project partners and to carry out their field studies within the scope of the research collaboration project from with whom the Master’s students have arranged their participation.

Master’s students who want to apply for a travel grant for field studies within the scope of a research collaboration project granted for in 2018 or 2019 should contact the project coordinator directly for guidance of how to apply for a travel grant and how the field work could contribute to the research collaboration project. as the project coordinator will be responsbile for and finance travel grants within the project grant of their research collaboration project. DFC cannot assist Master’s students in this matter.
