Walk alone you go fast, walk together you go far
On 12 December 2022, Danida Fellowship Centre and MS TCDC launched their new partnership Together for Impact.
The partnership will have a special focus on developing innovative and effective methodologies for learning in three main areas: 1) Learning for Change, 2) Youth Leadership for Change, and 3) Enablers for Change. The purpose is to strengthen the impact of the two institutions’ learning programmes and courses and to help participants transform the knowledge they gain into practice.
Five hundred young people from across Africa attending the YouLead Summit 2022 at MS TCDC in Arusha, Tanzania, participated in the launch that was officiated by Mette Nørgaard Dissing-Spandet, Denmark’s Ambassador to Tanzania, Ulla Næsby Tawiah, Director of Danida Fellowship Centre, Makena Mwobobia, Director of MS TCDC and Julie Koch, International Director of ActionAid Denmark.
A one-week boot camp (5-9 December 2022) on Youth Inclusion in Social-Economic Development and Policy Formulation in Africa led up to the annual YouLead Summit that started the same day as the launch took place.
