Welcome to Hanne Gert Andersen and Lasse Hove Bæk. Farewell to Anne Enkebølle

05-02-24

Hanne Gert Andersen has joined our learning programme team as a project coordinator, replacing Anne Engkebølle. She will be handling communication with Danish embassies, letters of acceptance for new Danida fellows, travel arrangements, contact with the Danish Immigration Service and study placements. With a background in logistics for medical import and export, Hanne has excelled in building customer relations globally, including in Africa and USA.

Lasse Hove Bæk is now with our communications team on a part time basis where he will provide graphic design support and enhance our online presence and general communication. For the past 12 years, Lasse served as a communications manager for ActionAid Denmark where he developed the brand for the Global Platforms Network through visual storytelling. Having lived and worked in Nepal, Myanmar, and Tanzania, Lasse brings a wealth of international experience.

Both Hanne Gert Andersen and Lasse Hove Bæk became part of the Danida Fellowship Centre team on February 1, 2024.

Farewell to Anne Engkebølle after 33 years

After an impressive 33-year tenure at Danida Fellowship Centre, we say farewell to our valued project coordinator, Anne Engkebølle, as she embarks on her well-deserved retirement.

Anne was a pioneer in administering our learning programmes, starting with a small team of two. Today, the team overseeing the planning and coordination of Danida Fellowship Centre’s learning programmes consists of 12 dedicated members. Anne was our walking encyclopedia not only about Danida Fellowship Centre but also about the experiences of the thousands of Danida fellows she assisted during their study stays in Denmark. Her genuine care for both the staff and the fellows always shone through her tireless work. We already miss her.

Have a look at the photos from Anne’s farewell party and send your greetings to her via this LinkedIn link.
