African researchers propose climate solutions

07-11-22

It started with speed dating between researchers and journalists and ended with well-rounded pitches ready to be broadcast on South Africa’s 24-hour eNews Channel, eNCA.

The journalists and researchers came together in the beginning of November to collaborate on bridging the gap between the two professions and to bring evidence-based knowledge into action. Senior reporter, Mapi Mhlangu, attended and captured it all in this video.

The research projects featured at eNCA are:

Unlocking the Potential of Green Charcoal Innovations to Mitigate Climate Change in Northern Uganda)

Predicting vector-borne disease epidemics: Dissemination of risk forecasting using District Health Information Software 2 in Tanzania

Climate Change Resilience of Ecosystem Services
