Selection Committee for the Knowledge and Innovation Programme
The Selection Committee for the Knowledge and Innovation Programme advises the Danida Fellowship Centre regarding support to university partnerships through the Knowledge and Innovation Programme.
The Selection Committee members are recruited based on competence and experience with university partnerships and exchanges, specialist knowledge about international relations in the higher education landscape in Denmark and African countries, insight into requirements of university and innovation environments in African countries, and finally in-depth knowledge and experience with development cooperation. The committee will assess applications for partnerships, scholarship activities and seed funding for partnerships, and advises the Danida Fellowship Centre in matters regarding the Knowledge and Innovation Programme as relevant.

The Selection Committee appointed for 2025-27 has the following members:

- Ann Njoki Kingiri, Chief Research Fellow and Director, Research and Innovation, African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS), Kenya.
- Emnet Tadesse Woldegiorgis, Director and Professor of Higher Education at the Ali Mazrui Centre for Higher Education (AMCHES), University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
- Shirley Pollak, Chief consultant, Office for International Education, Roskilde University, Denmark.
- Solbjørg Sjøveian, Policy Director – Higher Education and Research, Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation, Norway.
- Karen Høj Obling, Senior Advisor, Learning and Quality, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Denmark.
- Astrid Fogh Harboe, Senior advisor Centre for Education Policy, Ministry of Higher Education and Science, Denmark.
