Research in low-income Danida partner countries
This window (W1) encompasses strategic research cooperation which generates new knowledge relevant to the needs and strategies of the low-income Danida partner countries and to Denmark’s development cooperation. The cooperation projects will include substantive elements of research capacity strengthening, which focus on national priorities and ownership in these countries.
Administration of the on-going projects are following the at all time updated General Conditions.
In the cases that PhDs (Research Fellows) are included in Window 1 projects, the guidelines of how Danida Fellowship Centre manages these researchers’ stay in Denmark on behalf of the research projects apply. DFC’s administrative services for stays in Denmark of senior researchers (including postdocs) are optional.
