Knowledge Sharing Forum on Food Safety in Vietnam
Objective: Four workshops related to food safety and antimicrobial resistance, and safe pig production to bring together alumni from the Strategic Sector Cooperation partners (government staff and researchers) and relevant stakeholders and exchange knowledge and learning across sectors and disciplines.
To maximise the outcome from DFC scholarships and the Danida supported research project “Health and Antibiotics in Vietnamese Pig Production” (VIDA-PIG), the knowledge sharing forum provides an opportunity for continued knowledge exchange with colleagues, practitioners, and researchers within the field, and to ensure the sharing of new knowledge as it becomes available to different stakeholders in the pig value chain. The workshops addresses 1) one health approach to food safety, 2) capacity needs in food safety management, 3) research based policy development, and 4) data and technology access and needs.
