For these three Master's students, there is no doubt. Not only does studying in an international setting broaden and challenge their perspectives, but it also makes them more knowledgeable and capable.

Strategic sector cooperation: A model rooted in knowledge sharing and cross-border teamwork
"The peer-to-peer collaboration and the capacity development aspect of the Strategic Sector Cooperation programme are what make it a sustainable partnership initiative," says Kamilla Henningsen, sector counsellor, and Erick Ogallo, programme officer, at the Danish Embassy in Kenya.

Steps to take to achieve more equitable North-South research collaboration
The 50 Danida funded researchers who took part in the seminar “Equitable partnerships in development research” agreed on a number of important points to consider in relation to North-South research partnerships.

How sustained North-South university partnerships pay off
The Building Stronger Universities programme was launched in 2011 to foster research capacity development by facilitating long-term partnerships between universities in the Global North and the Global South. Now, a decade later, when the programme has entered its fourth phase, it is clear that, despite challenges and adjustments along the way, sustained university partnerships pay off.
