As part of Buenos Aires City and Copenhagen’s strategic sector cooperation on urban planning and climate change adaptation, two key employees from the Buenos Aires city authorities were selected in 2019 to participate in Danida Fellowship Centre’s course “Increased Performance through Strategic Leadership and Change Management”. The course provides useful practical tools for strategic leadership and change management.
In the case of the Buenos Aires – Copenhagen cooperation, this enabled the participants to lead multi-functional teams made up of as diverse stakeholders as pipe layers, plumbers and sewers to engineers and urban. The course’s focus on action planning also helped the Argentinian participants to both analyse and create plans to deal with the challenges of climate change and prepare the adaptations measures to be taken long term. Danida Fellowship Centre offer courses and learning programmes and support organisational change processes for Denmark’s partners of the Strategic Sector Cooperation.
