PARTNERSHIPS

All of Danida Fellowhip Centre’s activities are designed and conducted in collaboration with Danish and international learning institutions, universities and other research institutions in Denmark and partner countries, as well as relevant individual experts.

In addition, we have a long-term partnership with the Training Centre for Development Cooperation in Tanzania, MS TCDC. Under the title 'Together for impact', our common goal is to increase our impact by learning from each other and by co-developing learning programmes that integrate themes and learning methodologies from Denmark, Tanzania and the wider global community.
ABOUT US

PARTNERSHIP PRINCIPLES

We seek to establish equitable and transformative partnerships with all our partners and to promote the principles of the human rights-based approach, namely Participation, Accountability, Non-discrimination and Transparency (PANT), in all the partnerships we support.

  • Participatory and inclusive: Crucial in all our work is to develop activities that respond to the needs of the individuals, organisations and institutions we collaborate with, and that will create impact for them. We seek to acknowledge the value of differences in expertise, perspectives and culture, to foster an inclusive environment, and to encourage the integration of many types of expertise in our activities.
  • Shared accountability: We seek to be clear about mandates, goals and approaches when engaging with individuals, organisations and institutions and to support partners in building their capacities around these principles. Non-discrimination, mutual respect and inclusion: We seek to embrace differences and are committed to respect each other’s mandates, autonomy, organisational structures and processes. We are committed to ensure access to our activities by diverse groups of individuals and organisations, and to be clear about the non-negotiables described in our Code of Conduct.
  • Transparency: We seek to build understanding and trust with our partners and to engage in long-term partnerships where ongoing dialogue, open communication and information sharing reinforces a shared understanding, commitment and learning.

Together for Impact

What happens when two experienced training institutions realise just how much they can gain from each other’s expertise and networks? The answer is simple: they join forces. This is exactly what Danida Fellowship Centre and MS Training Centre for Development Cooperation, MS TCDC did when they launched their new partnership, Together for Impact, in 2023.

Together, Danida Fellowship Centre and MS TCDC bring over 100 years of combined experience in transformative training.

While Danida Fellowship Centre primarily offers learning activities for policymakers, practitioners in both the public and private sectors, and academia – helping participants learn, share, and apply knowledge for sustainable impact – MS TCDC focuses on capacity development for social transformation, empowering civil society organisations, citizens, and young people to drive positive change.

These complementary approaches and target groups make the Together for Impact partnership a unique opportunity for both institutions to draw on each other’s strengths.

The partnership places a special emphasis on developing innovative and effective learning methodologies across three main areas:

Learning for Change
Youth Leadership for Change
Enablers for Change

The aim is to strengthen the impact of both institutions’ learning activities, and enable participants to turn the knowledge they gain into practical actions.
