Samieh Shumar joined our research administration team on April 15th. She will be responsible for the financial management and financial control of grants related to Danida funded collaborative research projects between Danish universities and universities and research institutions in developing and growth countries.
Samieh brings almost 25 years of experience in finance from the banking sector and Danish governmental institutions, amongst others. Most recently, Samieh worked as a Senior Financial Controller for MS ActionAid Denmark.
For the past two years, Samieh has been based in Jordan and she will work for the Danida Fellowship Centre from there until August 2023. After that, she will join the rest of the team in Denmark.
